Evie and Abel Christmas Pictures

Caitlin came over after Thanksgiving to take pictures of the kids for us.  It was really hard to get them still and happy all at the same time!

Please enjoy this sampling of Christmas pictures with our fondest holiday wishes.

Daddy & Evie's Home Alone Weekend Fun - Volume II

Part 1: Breakfast

I started editing for this Volume II, but realized I had about an hour of just breakfast footage. So it became its own thing. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Catching up on Pictures

We had the camera out for the Fall Festival today. When we were going through the camera we realized we were a little behind on posting pictures. So here are the highlights from the last couple of months:

Trying on Halloween Costumes

We had lunch at Becca's house after church today. Becca and Rebekah started talking little girl Halloween costumes, and before I knew what was happening, Evie ad Lizzy were trying on costumes right therein the living room floor!

I think we're going with the tiger...

Abel Pictures!

Well, it's taken us a while to get back here and give an update.  I'm sure you've heard by now that Abel has arrived!  We went to the hospital (St. Mary's) about 1am on Sunday the 10th, and he came less than 2 hours later.  We came home from the hospital Tuesday around noon, and Mommy and the kids have been hanging out here pretty much ever since.  Our lives have changed somewhat drastically, so we felt obliged to share a few words with you, if only a few.  If you're interested in more pictures, they are also available more extensively on Facebook, and comprehensively on Snapfish.

Diabetics Make Harsher Slave Drivers

They say nesting is a sign of labor.  At least, that's what my wife tells me.  Personally, I didn't even know what nesting was.  After this weekend, I think I understand.  We now no longer have any space in our attic, we discovered carpet in areas of our bedroom I didn't know existed, and I made 10 bucks mowing a new neighbor's yard.  So that's pretty good, right?  I think diabetics make harsher slave drivers.

A Brief History of Our Lives So Far

So I thought it would be a good idea to put up an overview of the major events of our life together, from the time we met to the present.  It's always fun for us to think back and reflect on how God has brought us to where we are.  So we're confident that we'll enjoy this little exercise, and we hope that you will enjoy it with us!

Our Brand-New Blog - Up and Running!

God has blessed the Wade household so much more than we ever thought possible. As God is continually presenting us with new endeavors (and new family members!), we felt compelled to share our story with our friends and family. Our life journey will undoubtedly get progressively more interesting and challenging, so we're deciding to faithfully journal each step of the way - not just so you can keep track of where we are in the process and what's going on, but also so that we can look back and remember all the ways God has showed His faithfulness through the years.
